- This synopsis is to modify previously submitted synopsis of 08/02/05 which was for a requirement for Underwater Explosive Shock Testing of Transducers and Transduction related hardware. The original notice stated that The Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Newport, Newport, RI intended to award this requirement as 100% set aside for small business. This notice serves to dissolve the small business set-aside, and solicit the requirement on an unrestricted basis. The amended solicitation shall be released on approximately 08/22/05. Copy of the amended solicitation must be accessed at our web site at below addresses. This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities(FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line(NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. Our department no longer issues solicitations or amendments in paper form.
