- FISC Norfolk Contracting Department Philadelphia Office intends to modify existing contract N00140-02-C-N702 with SatoTravel for the establishment and servicing of a Navy Passenger Transportation Office (NAVPTO) in Bahrain. The Travel Management Services to be provided in support of NAVPTO Bahrain shall consist of a six-month period of performance commencing on or around 01 October 2005 through 31 March 2006, plus an additional six month option to extend the term of the modification effort through 30 September 2006, which is the expiration of contract N00140-02-C-N702. This action is required in order to provide the Navy with comprehensive travel management services, inclusive of all forms of travel reservations and centrally billed account reconciliation, in the Southwest Asia Region until award of the consolidated Department of Defense commercial travel services contract. This modification effort to contract N00140-02-C-N702 is for services that the Government intends to solicit and negotiate on a sole source basis with Sato Travel pursuant to the authority at 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Suppliers or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements, as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. Numbered notes 22 and 26 apply.
