Description

The Fleet & Industrial Supply Center,Puget Sound is soliciting for a firm fixed price services type contract to be negotiated on sole source basis with Genwest Systems Inc, Edmonds, WA 98020 for a Worst Case Tabletop Oil Spill Exercise. The 2-4 hour Oil Spill Exercise will consist of contractor developed exercise scenarios, initial response documentation, trajectories of slick, controllers? handbooks, participants handbooks and a draft Exercise Plan developed in accordance with state and federal regulations in support of Commander, Naval Region Northwest, Silverdale, WA 98315. Period of performance shall be for nine months after date of contract award. The commercial solicitation will be issued on or about 23 August 2005 with a closing date of 09 September 2005. Proposed contract to be procured using commercial Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Part 12 and 13.5. This solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted to the NECO website: http://www.neco.navy.mil under Solicitation Number N00406-05-T-1646. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from this website and for frequently monitoring that site for any amendments. The Government is not responsible for any inability of the offeror to access the posted documents. No telephone or FAX requests will be accepted, and no hard-copy solicitation/amendment will be mailed or FAXed.
