- This is a pre-solicitation notice. The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Puget Sound has a requirement for Name-Brand, Diamond II Automated Access Control System Software Upgrade; Diamond II Upgrade Database Conversion and On-Site Technical Support; and Diamond II Self-Maintainer Certification Training. The Government intends to negotiate this requirement as Sole Source to dealers of GE Security Services, manufacturer of Diamond II Automated Access Control System Software Upgrade, Diamond II Upgrade Database Conversion and on-site technical support, and Diamond II Self-Maintainer Certification Training. A determination by the Government to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This requirement is an upgrade to an existing system. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 334611, with a small business standard size of 500. The required delivery date for the requirement is on 1 November 2005 on an FOB Destination basis to Puget Sound Naval Shipyard & IMF in Bremerton, WA. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from this website and for frequently monitoring that site for any amendments.
