- Industry Brief - The provision of material and transportation to U.S. Navy customers in response to requisitions for Weld wire, electrodes and associated material. An Industry Briefing is being sponsored by the Naval Inventory Control Point (NAVICP) in Mechanicsburg, PA on 13 September 2005. The meeting will begin at 0900 in Building 14, Training Room #5. Prior to the briefing, contractors are strongly encouraged to review the Performance Statement of Work, including the item list attachments. The Performance Statement of Work is provided as an attachment to this notice. A hardcopy can be requested from the Contract Specialist identified below. Comments and questions regarding the Performance Statement of Work shall be sent in writing to the Contract Specialist by August 31. All questions and corresponding answers will be reviewed during the industry briefing. Persons desiring to attend this briefing shall send a written request to Mr. David E. Snyder, ContractSpecialist, NAVICP, Code 0243.11, 5450 Carlisle, P.O. Box 2020, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055 (Phone 717-605-2367, Fax 717-605-4236 or E-mail david.snyder@navy.mil). The request shall identify the persons who will be attending the industry brief, company name, address and a phone number. This announcement is merely for an industry briefing and is not a RFP or other solicitation.
