Description
NAICS Code: 541511 NAICS Code: 541511 The U. S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Water Management Division in Region 4 intends to award a sole source purchase order using Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures to Acclaim Systems, Inc. The purpose of this acquisition is to obtain services to provide water quality data management support to the State of Alabama. The service involves developing the capability of the State to input and retrieve data from the National EPA data system STORET. Acclaim Systems, Inc. has direct experience with the EPA STORET database and knowledge of quality data relationships to aid in the organization of the database interface. Acclaim Systems is uniquely qualified to undertake this contract assignment. The firm has a solid experience with providing technical assistance to States in the use of EPA STORET data base management system. They have successfully designed a STORET interface for the State of Georgia for beach monitoring data and are currently providing technical assistance to the State of Mississippi to use the STORET data base. The NAICS code for this requirement is 541511 and the size standard is $21,000,000.00. This requirement is a 100% small business set-aside. NO SOLICITATION OR REQUEST FOR QUOTE IS AVAILABLE. Notwithstanding, any firm that believes it is capable of meeting EPA's requirement as stated herein may submit a response, which if received by the closing date of this announcement will be considered. Documentation must be received by September 9, 2005 to be considered for this requirement. Responses to this posting must be in writing. A determination not to compete the proposed requirement based upon the responses to this notice is solely with the discretion of the Government.
