PREPARED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FORMAT IN SUBPART 12.6, AS SUPPLEMENTED WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION INCLUDED IN THIS NOTICE. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTATIONS ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This amendment 0001 is being issued to provide answers to questions that have been asked. Any additional questions received will be posted at this site as soon as possible. No extension to the due date is being granted as a result of questions. 1) The Statement of Work lists 'approximately' an 8 hours a day schedule. To better price the requirement please provide us with exact hours of staffing. ANSWER: 40 hours per week 2A) There appears to be no overlap of instructors. Since there is only one person on-duty what happens when the fitness center manager gets sick or unforeseen emergency arises? ANSWER: The activities scheduled must be cancelled and/or the manager could schedule another qualified instructor. 2B) Would the center remain unmanned? ANSWER: Yes. 3) How many exercise classes per week exactly does the center wish to conduct? Because of specialized training, many managers cannot teach all types of classes on the market. ANSWER: We would like to have a combination of 12-15 classes per week - yoga, step aerobics, resistance and body ball, Pilates, spinning. 4) What are the Federal Holidays? ANSWER: 10/10/2005, 11/11/2005, 11/24/2005, 12/26/2005, 01/01/2006, 01/16/2006, 02/20/2006, 05/29/2006, 07/04/2006, and 09/04/2006. End of Amendment 001
