REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) for interested food service industry vendors. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. HUD will conduct an INDUSTRY DAY to present current state of the Department?s facilities and to obtain information on the feasibility of having a food court with multiple vendors managed by a sole vendor or a sole vendor to provide a cafeteria with multiple food options. U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), Headquarters, is requesting information from food service industry vendors. HUD is performing an assessment of vendors capable of providing food court or cafeteria services to the Department. HUD is seeking market information to ascertain available resources, capable of renovating, installing, and providing hot meals, snacks and beverages. Interested vendors should be capable of providing breakfast and lunchtime services to customers morning and afternoon, maximum, 5 days per week. The Industry Day meeting will start at 9:00 AM, September 7, 2005, in the HUD Events Room, and will last approximately 3 hours. The event will consist of briefings and open discussions and will be at an unclassified level. To facilitate meeting planning, it is required that each company attending Industry Day submit on company letterhead a list of all planned attendees. The document shall provide as a minimum the following information for each planned attendee (maximum of two attendees per company): (1) Full Name of Attendee (2) Job Position Title (3) A point of contact with telephone number, fax number and email address in case there are any questions relative to the submission. Submission by mail or email is acceptable and must be received no later than 3:00 PM EDT, August 31, 2005 by the contracting office listed below. Firms that will be considered are classified under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 722211?Limited Service Restaurants; NAICS 722212-Cafeterias; and NAICS 541410-Interior Design Services.
