The anticipated award date will be:30 Nov 2005. The actual quantity will be determined at the time of award. At this time the Government's BEQ is 228 ea. The following quantity ranges for pricing purposes will be solicited: (114-171ea),(172-227) and (228-285). First Article Government Test may be required. New/Unused Government Surplus will be solicited. The approximate solicitation posting date 07 Sept 05, closing date: 07 Oct 2005. Written procedure will be used for this solicitation. Approved Sources: Philips, CF Roark, ABA Industries, Heintz DV Kelsey/Hayes CO, Electro Methods Inc., Twigg Corporation, Associated Aerospace, Turbocombustor Technology Inc., Aeronca, B H Aircraft Corporation. No telephone requests. Only written or faxed request received directly from the requester is acceptable. Electronic procedure will be used for this solicitation. Request for Written Quotation will be issued. The anticipated award date will be 60 days after the issuance of this notice. Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service, or the manufacturer meets qualification requirements at the time of award in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1. The solicitation identifies the office where additional information can be obtained concerning qualification requirements as cited in each individual solicitation. The proposed contract is 100% set aside for small business concerns. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirements with a commercial item within 15 day of this notice.
