Description

The President's Emergency Plan forAIDS Relief (PEPFAR0 Coordinator, reporting to the Chief of Mission in Tanzania, will assume responsibility for managing critical communications between and among the various USG departments and agencies involved in the Emergency Plan, liaising routinely with State Department's Office of the Global AIDS Coordinator (OGAC), particularly the Tanzanian Inter-agency Core Team, designated Embassy counterparts, and with representatives of the USG Emergency Plan implementing agencies. The PEPFAR Coordinator will be the senior USG representative on national, development partner, and global coordination mechanisms in Tanzania. The incumbent provides advice and counsel to the U.S. Chief of Mission on all matters related to HIV/AIDS in Tanzania.
