Description

UNICOR, intends to enter into a Requirements contract for Thread. This requirement is for commercial items. The requirement number is CT1741-05 and this requirement will be issued as a two (2) base year, with two (2) one year options (if exercised), Requirements type contract (52.216-21). The requirement document incorporates provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) No. 05 05. The North American Industry Classification System Code is 313113 and small business size is 500. (Domestic Only). Estimated Maximum Quantity for life of the contract. For FCI Waseca, MN: (THD0099) 1,000,000,000 Yards, (THD0968) 150,000,000 Yards, and (THD0006) 60,000,000 Yards. USP Pollock, LA: (THD0968) 150,000,000 Yards, and (THD0006) 90,000,000 Yards. All materials must meet the requirements set forth in CRFD/PD 04-07 Dated June 23, 2004 and/or CRFD/PD 99-01A. Items received will be inspected with the following Inspection Levels: Visual: Inspection Level A.Q.L. II 4.0 Dimensional: Inspection Level A.Q.L. S-3 4.0 Clause A: With the original invoice the vendor will furnish the original Certificate of Conformance that shall be signed by the person who has certification authority with their title and position included. A copy of this Certificate of Conformance and the packing slip will accompany each shipment. The furnishing of the Certificate of Conformance shall be a condition of acceptance at a destination, and payment shall not be made until it is received. Inspection and acceptance will be at destination by FPI. Delivery is FOB Destination FCI Waseca, MN, and USP Pollock, LA. Delivery Acceptance is 30 Days after the receipt of each delivery order. This requirement is an all or none requirement. The award will result in the Best Value to the Government: The evaluation factors are: Past Performance, Price, and Specifications. Additional information will be provided in the solicitation which is due to be issued on or about September 9, 2005.
