Description

On behalf of the Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Army for Installations and Environment, Residential Communities Initiative, and in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, the Defense Contracting Command-Washington, DCC-W intends to award a sole source contract to the Military Housing and Lodging Institute (MHLI) to update and deliver an expanded RCI Training Program. MHLI developed and delivered a series of training courses for the RCI program, and supported a weeklong seminar for RCI personnel. This requirement is to update courses previously developed by MHLI. The requirement also seeks support for the 2006 RCI Professional Development Conference, identical to the support MHLI provided for the 2005 lessons learned Seminar. The period of performance is for 12 months. It is anticipated that the resultant contract will be a firm-fixed price contract. There is NO solicitation document. This notice is not a request for proposals. Interested firms may send a capabilities state ment to the attention of Phuong Newhart, DCC-W, 5200 Army Pentagon, Washington, DC 20310-5200. Capability statements must be received by this office within 7 days from publication of this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this prop osed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Award is anticipated on or about 15 Sep 2005. This announcement is in accordance with FAR 5.101(A)(1).
