Description
The Tank Automotive Command-Picatinny (TACOM-Picatinny) Picatinny Arsenal, NJ 07806-5000 seeks to identify potential contractors to maintain and modify existing federal financial database applications as well as develop new applications using SAP, COGNOS and Report Suite support tools to standardize the budget and obligation planning process, R&A reporting, and other financial management functions. The contractor shall provide computer-based effort to extract, analyze, study, and interpret financial and/or administrative information to support FMO and the ARDEC Command group. Contractor efforts will require the provision of staff with software skills and customer-support experience to perform certain discrete financial management tasks. The contractor???s primary responsibility shall be data input, extraction, integrity analysis, interpretation, and presentation in both recurring and special, non-recurring reports to both remote Army standard applications and local applications. Tracking of disbursement information shall be through General Ledger, Account payable, and Labor data management systems located at remote sites. This effort requires locating and providing specific accounting information required by the Government; researching, preparing, formatting accounting reports for funds management. The contractor shall also interface with ARDEC staff to ensure interoperability with the Picatinny infrastructure. Travel may be required. Interested contractors are invited to indicate their interest by providing a white paper with their capabilities and experience in federal financial data mining within fifteen days of the date of this notice to U.S. Army RDECOM-Picatinny, ATTN: Tom Perkins, AMSTA-AAR-FMP, Bldg. 1, Picatinny Arsenal, NJ 07806-5000, email: thomas.perkins1@us.army.mil . In addition, please provide the contractor???s name, address, point of contact with telephone number, email address, and size of business. This is a market survey for information only and shall not be construed as a request for proposal or as an obligation on the part of the US Government. The US Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this market survey or otherwise pay for information solicited. Period of Performance February 2006 - January 2009. Responses shall include information relative to knowledge/abilities to provide the technical support sought, and provide a point of contact for questions. If practical, written responses to this notice may be submitted using electronic methods such as E-Mail, Internet, faxes to (973-724-3911, or other electronic media. Responses to this market survey RECEIVED more than fifteen (15) calendar days from the date of this notice will not be considered.
