Description

Naval Air Systems Command intends to issue an order to the Joint Venture (JV) of ITT Industries/Northrop Grumman in Clifton, NJ to procure materials and determine repairs of the AN/ALQ-165(V). JV will examine the Government of Finland?s (FIAF) WRAs and SRAs and determine repair requirements and repair cost estimates. This will include the required testing, disassembly and visual inspection necessary to identify the repair material and labor required to return the WRAs to a serviceable, not new condition. A lay-in of materials to support the repair of the hardware by JV, will be procured. Additionally, technical assistance will be provided. JV is the designer, developer and sole producer of the AN/ALQ-165 (V) ASPJ system and the only firm possessing the requisite technical knowledge and expertise, facilities, tooling and special test equipment necessary to produce them in a timely manner.
