Description

On May 25, 2005, the General Services Administration, Public Building Service (PBS) publicized its intent to conduct a streamlined competition for Planner/Estimator Services, commercial activity function, performed at various locations in Minnesota and Milwaukee,Wisconsin. The authority and procedures for the competition are found in the May 29, 2003, OMB Circular A-76. This is the announcement of the performance decision made as a result of the competition. It has been determined that it is more cost effective to have the work performed by private sector contract at the following locations (the number in parentheses following each location identify the number of full time employees affected): Ft. Snelling (1), St. Paul (1), Minneapolis (1) and Milwaukee (1).
