Description

The Defense Finance and Accounting Service, Cleveland, anticipates issuing a sole source award, firm fixed price contract to Oce? North America, Inc. The contract will be for 12 months of hardware maintenance for Oce' 2090? printers, SNPS-UNX714D, PRISMA & ADP Service. The period of performance for the contract will be from 10/1/05 through 9/30/06. Oce? Corporation is the manufacturer of the equipment. Due to the End of Life of the equipment, Oce? is the only company that can provide parts and service to the equipment. It is anticipated that the contract will be awarded for a one-year period. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purposes for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. If the requirement is found to be other than sole source, no additional announcement will be published. All communication shall be in writing and by e-mail and addressed to terry.moore@dfas.mil
