Description

This is a notice of intent to award a Sole Source contract for service under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 to Serena Software Inc., 2755 Campus Drive, San Mateo, CA 94403. The sole source requirement is for renewal of maintenance and support for RTM software licenses to Serena Software, Inc. It is used to track customer requirements, including changes and trends in those requirements. The above named vendor is believed to be the only source for this service. The services are being procured under FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This notice of intent is NOT a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for competitive quotes. Interested contractors may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing by e-mail to Louis Gilden no later than 5:00PM EST on August 30, 2005, contact information is as follows: GildenL@sec.gov. Capabilities / qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination not to compete this proposed procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
