Description

The Veterans Affairs Austin Automation Center (AAC), has a need to acquire magnetic media vaulting and storage services including the transportation and recall of media for AAC. This requirement will be procured utilizing procedures in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and Part 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code for this requirement is 541519. The size standard is $21.0 million. AAC anticipates awarding one (1) firm-fixed price requirements type contract for this effort. The period of performance shall be for one year (12 months in duration), with four one-year options, if exercised. The solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis. The selection decision will be based on overall best value to the AAC, price and non-price factors considered. The RFQ will be issued under solicitation RFQ-200-84-05. The solicitation and any related documents will be made available to interested parties through electronic media for downloading via the internet at Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. No hard copies of the solicitation will be available.
