Description

VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System, with three (3) physically distinct facility/PBX locations, seeks to establish a contract for local telephone dial tone service, including trunking services on Primary Rate ISDN (PRI) lines, analog trunks (direct business lines) for off-premise phones, and Direct Inward Dial services equivalent to those currently utilized through the current Local Exhange Carrier (Verizon), with the addition of Caller ID. Contractor will design, plan, implement, operate, manage, and maintain 100% of the services ordered. The service must be based on technology that has critical component redundancy as well as automatic system re-initialization to the identical level of service prior to the need for re-load. Proposals will be evaluated for technical capability, experience and past performance record, and pricing, in order to select the most competitive offer which will result in the highest level of reliability, with immediate, uninterrupted service 24 x 7. RFP will be issued and posted to the FBO website o/a 9/1/05; tentative due date for proposals will be 9/26/05. This is an unrestricted procurement, open to both large and small business concerns. The NAICS classification code is 517110 and the small business size standard is 1500 employees.
