PRON: AX5F5643AX, NSN: 1615-01-171-7704, PN: 7-311310012, QUANTITY: 65 each, applicable to the AH-64 (AIRFRAME), with deliveries to Stockton, CA 95296-30120. This is a Small Business Set-Aside that is limited to those small businesses, which are appro ved. This item is restricted to the approved small businesses The Purdy Corp., 22907 and Northstar Aerospace Chicago,Cage Code 22907, because this part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. Existing unique design capability, engineering skills, and manufacturing knowledge by the qualified source(s) require acquisition of the part from the approved source(s). Production Lead-time with First Article Testing is 65 each, due 182 Days After contract Award (DACA). Production Lead-time without First Article Testing is 65 each, due 121 DACA. Firms that can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in or der to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/ and looking under CAPSAR (Comprehensive Automated Process for Source Approval Request) and Policy Relating to Source Approval Request (SAR) for Aviation requirement s. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of solicitation; however, solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above. By U.S. Law, participation in Small Business Set Asid es are restricted to U.S. small businesses, therefore foreign requests for this solicitation will not be honored. Adequate technical data is not available for this acquisition. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency.
