- Description
- This modification replaces notice N00421-05-R-VIDEOWALL in its entirety. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Special Communications Requirements (SCR) Division St. Inigoes, MD is seeking to identify all responsible sources capable of providing a video wall display system. The video wall display system should provide a focal point for security event monitoring, analysis and response. The video wall system will provide the ability to project, matrix and monitor images from workstations to display on a video wall. VIDEO WALL DISPLAY SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: The estimated size of the video wall is 32 feet wide by 8 feet high, inclusive of stand (estimated display portion of height is 4 to 6 feet.) The video wall will be installed in a room of approximately 32 feet by 45 feet. The video wall display system must be able to display network connected computer workstations and various data/applications (running directly on local servers). The ability to display up to Fifteen (15) network connected computer workstations on the wall system is necessary. The video wall must be capable of displaying multiple sources simultaneously, and must be easily and intuitively manageable to allow for quick changes in displayed content. The system must also be able to send the same Fifteen (15) network connected computer workstations to customer supplied LCD flat panel displays in the vicinity. ALL CONTROL of the LCD flat panel displays will ONLY be from the control workstations. All Fifteen (15) stations must have the ability to control the selection and placement of content on the display wall and LCD's. The system must be capable of incorporating FIVE (5) serial sources that are yet to be determined. (e.g. DVD, VHS players) In addition, all FIFTEEN (15) computer and FIVE (5) serial sources must be able to be sent to TWO (2) customer supplied 40" LCD XGA Flat Panels at a remote location over the network. The remote location does not have to have any control over what is viewed on the screens. Control will be accomplished at any one of the 15 computer sources in the primary facility. ADDITIONAL SPECIFICATIONS: Display resolution must be XGA or greater (1024x768). System noise issues must be easily mitigated as the entire suite may be located in a work area. Industry standard, non-proprietary hardware should be maximized. The video wall displays should provide easy access for service. A conceptual drawing of the Video Wall is provided at http://www.navair.navy.mil/doing_business/open_solicitations/index.cfm THIS IS NOT A NOTICE OF SOLICITATION ISSUANCE, BUT RATHER A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION from industry that will allow the Government to identify interested sources capable of meeting the requirement.
