Description

The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Puget Sound (FISCPS) is soliciting, in accordance with FAR 12 and 13.5, for one cutting system with overall dimensions of 96? X 192?, with a 72? X 71.5? cutting surface. Complete specifications are included in the solicitation. To be negotiated on a sole source basis with Gerber Technologies, per FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals, which will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination not to compete this action based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This will be a Firm, Fixed Price supply type contract. FOB Destination. Place of delivery is Puget Sound Naval Shipyard in Bremerton, WA. Delivery required by 30 OCTOBER 2005. Solicitation will be issued on or about 25 AUGUST 2005 with a closing date of 9 SEPTEMBER 2005. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal or quotation which shall be considered by FISCPS.This solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted to the NECO website: http://www.neco.navy.mil. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from this website and for frequently monitoring that site for any amendments. The Government is not responsible for any inability of the offeror to access the posted documents. No telephone or FAX requests will be accepted, and no hard-copy solicitation/amendment will be mailed or FAXed. Electronic submission of proposals/quotes is not available at this time.
