Description
Senior representatives from DIA and DODIIS: the Directorate for Information Management Requirements and Research (R2) Group, the Directorate for Analysis, the Directorate for Collection, and Office of the CTO, will conduct and Industry Day on 20 September 2005 entitled "Hard Problems - Innovative Solutions." Industry Day will consist of a series of presentations, from key speakers, in the Auditorium at the University of Maryland University College Conference Center, College Park, MD from 7:30am-5:30pm. The Defense Intelligence Community will use this day as a forum to communicate commonly occuring IT problems; thus giving industry and academia more insight into the solutions they should provide. All presenters will offer a question and answer session as part of their presentations. Furthermore, numerous opportunities for informal networking will be available during breaks and activities. All presentations are unclassified; however, discussion topics will be focused and relevant to the issues at hand. The early registration cost is $259 for industry and $199 for government personnel until 31 August. From Aug 31st on, the cost of the registration increases for industry members to $279, but remains $199 for government. All industry representatives involved with the DIESCON 3 program -both prime contractors and thier industry team members (who do or are considering doing business with the Defense Intelligence Community) - are encouraged to attend this one day briefing. More specifically-CTOs, Technical Liaisons, Program Managers, R/D individuals, and Senior Scientists are encouraged to attend; however, other industry members are certainly welcome as well. All interested parties should register as early as possible since registration is on a first-come-first-serve basis for everyone. Following Industry Day will be a Technology Exposition, planned to take place at the DIA in the fall of 2005. More details on the Technology Exposition will be announced as they become available. "Hard Problems - Innovative Solutions" Industy Day is produced by NCSI (National Conference Services, Inc). Please visit www.federalevents.com for registration details.
