Description
The Missile Defense Agency (MDA) intends to award a sole source, cost-plus fixed fee, follow-on contract to CACI Dynamic Systems, Inc to provide advisory and assistance, scientific, engineering, and technical assistance (A&A SETA) services to augment functional staff elements of the MDA Contracts Deputate (CT). This contract will be for one (1) year with a one (1) year option. MDA requires continuation of this SETA effort to avoid disruption of services while determining the scope of the requirements for the on-going MDA re-engineering effort and the pending Department of Defense Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) decisions. Approximately fifty man-year equivalents (MYEs) will be required, dependent on the FY06 and FY07 budgets. The contractor will be required to supply technical and administrative staff to perform tasks within the Statement of Work (SOW) while working in close coordination and cooperation with the MDA Government staff and other support contractors. Services to be provided include, but are not limited to: (1) MDA requires continuation of this support services effort to avoid disruption of services while determining the impact on these requirements of the on-going MDA re-engineering effort and the pending Department of Defense Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) decisions. Approximately fifty man-year equivalents (MYEs) will be required, dependent of the FY06 and FY07 budgets. The contractor will be required to supply technical and administrative staff to perform tasks within the Statement of Work while working in close coordination and cooperation with the MDA Government staff and other support contractors. Services to be provided include, but are not limited to: 1)assisting in the development of contracting policy and procedures; 2) providing research and advice on contracting and acquisition issues; 3) assisting in the negotiation, award, modification, administration, monitoring of and closeout of contracts; 4) preparing various standard and ad hoc reports; 5) tracking contracting metrics; and 6) performing systems administration of the Standard Procurement System (SPS). CACI is the only contractor that can provide these necessary support services without disruption in the level and quality required by MDA. CACI additionally possesses unique capabilities to support the MDA based upon its familiarity with both MDA and CT.
