Description

The United States Special Operations Command, Technology Applications Contracting Office has a follow-on requirement for Life-Cycle Contractor Support services for the AN/APQ-174B Color Multi-mode radar (MMR)installed on the MH-47E and MH-60K special operations aircraft. This follow-on effort includes depot level maintenance, sustaining engineering, and spare/repair parts (including life-time part buys). The Goverment intends to award the follow-on contract to Raytheon Company, McKinney, TX on a sole source basis. Raytheon is the designer, developer and sole manufacturer of the AN/APQ-174B MMR. Raytheon retains all patents and proprietary data rights on the MMR systems. The Government anticipates issuing a solicitation on or before 16 September 2005 for an anticipated award date of 1 January 2006. The performance period of the anticipated award will be for at least two years.
