- This announcement is a Request for Proposals (RFP). The successful contractor shall provide the necessary personnel, supplies and equipment to perform scientific and technical support type services under an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity type contract. These services are in support of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Pacific Islands Fisheries Science Center, located in Honolulu Hawaii. Task orders will be issued on a firm fixed price basis with work to be performed primarily at the research facilities in the Honolulu area or aboard Government or contracted research vessels. Task orders will be issued based upon the type of work required, i.e., scientific or technical and the labor category required to fulfill the tasks, i.e., lab technician, scientist, etc. The period of performance will be for one (1) base year of services with four (4) additional one year option periods. This procurement is 100% set-aside for Small Business concerns. The current NAICS code is 541990 with a size standard of $6 million dollars. The solicitation will be issued electronically for this requirement. Mandatory Clause: The Western Administrative Support Center, Acquisition Management Division, requires that all contractors doing business with this acquisition office must be registered with the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) before October 1, 2003. After this date, NO award can be made unless the vendor is registered in CCR. For additional information and to register in CCR please access the following web site: http:///www.ccr.gov/.
