Description

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to issue a sole source purchase order to National Environmental Health Association(NEHA),Denver,CO, or a EPI-Ready Workshops Materials. The United Sates Government is very concerned about preparedness for intentional attacks on the food supply as well as reducing the level of morbidity and mortality from unintentional foodborne illness. To be successful in both of these efforts, we must improve the knowledge and skills of frontline public health professions. NEHA has successfully developed and implemented a foodborne illness epidemiology training course, Epi-Ready, that has received very high praise from the trainees and from state and federal experts who have audited the course. The contractor will provide the following materials; updating and printing epi-ready workbook, updating/printing train and trainer workbook, purchase of CD ROM, and other materials required for the course. CDC believe that this requirement is met by only one provider. This procurement will be processed under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 Only one responsible source and no other sources will satisfy agency requirements. No solicitation is being issued. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. However, information received will be considered solely for information purposes only.
