Description

The Laboratory of Molecular Biology, Center for Cancer Research of the National Cancer Institute is soliciting proposals for a contract to support Phase 2 clinical trials of the SS1P immunotoxin targeted to mesothelin on cancer cells. Services will entail Good Manufacturing Process (GMP) production of at least 300 mg of SS1P immunotoxin. Offerors shall have the capability to produce clinical grade SS1P Protein and formulate and vial drug substance to produce drug product. The following mandatory qualification criterion must be met: The offeror must have a current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) facility. Failure to meet the mandatory qualification will be grounds for exclusion from further consideration. The NAICS code for this procurement is 325414 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. It is anticipated that one (1) fixed-priced contract will be awarded for a period of six (6) months. This RFP will be issued on or about September 15, 2005 and proposals will be due on October 15, 2005.
