- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office, Grand Prairie, Texas intends to make a single award, to a responsible quoter for the provision of Phlebotomy Technician services for the Metropolitan Detention Center, Los Angeles, 523 N. Alameda Street, Los Angeles, California 90012. The contract period shall consist of a base period from date of award through 12 months, and four one-year option periods for renewal at the discretion of the Government. The successful contractor(s) shall provide Phlebotomy Technician services consistent with community standards. The North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) code is 621399, with a small business size standard of $6.0 million. Services will be performed on individuals who are in the custody and care of the Federal Bureau of Prisons within a secure correctional environment. Yearly contract requirements include an estimated 260 sessions. A session is defined as six hours. The solicitation will be made available on or about September 19, 2005, and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov.
