- The US Air Force intends to purchase approximately 859 Remote Antenna-2 (RA-2), 722 DAGR to RA-2 Cables, 603 AC Power Adapters, 4,349 PLGR Mount Adapters, 909 PLGR External Power Adapters, and 1,151 Bradley Vehicle Data Adapters for Full Rate Production (FRP) compatible with the Defense Advanced GPS Receiver (DAGR) Interested parties are invited to submit a statement of technical capabilities which includes the following information: 1) Company name, mailing address, points of contact and telephone numbers, 2) Business size classification, Large, Small, or Other, 3) Experience in handheld GPS Receivers or similar technologies, and 4) The facilities to work at the appropriate security level. Interested offerors must submit Statements of Capabilities (SOC), which clearly show that they are qualified to perform this effort. Statement of capabilities must also prove compatibility with DAGR system. Send your capability statements to SMC/GPK (ATTN: Capt. Jake Campbell), 2435 Vela Way, Suite 1866, El Segundo, CA 90245-4659. Oral communications are not acceptable. This acquisition is intended to fulfill urgent operational requirements. This notice is strictly sources sought synopsis and shall not be considered a request for offers. Prospective contractors should submit information in writing no later than the deadline date stated above with well-documented evidence of their capability to meet all technical contractual requirements. All production accessories must meet the form, fit, function and NSA security design features of the existing DAGR system as described below. SYSTEM OVERVIEW: The primary operational mission of the DAGR is to provide Precise Positioning Service support to missions that involve land-based war fighting operations and operations other than war. These include ground personnel, indirect fire weapon systems, and armored vehicles. The DAGR can also be used as a secondary or supplemental aid to aviation-based missions, which involve operations in low-dynamic aircraft, such as helicopters, and as an aid to navigation in water-borne operations, such as for combat swimmers, submarines, and watercraft.
