- The U.S. Army Engineer District, New Orleans, has a requirement for a contractor to furnish all labor, materials, services, equipment, facilities, etc. to fabricate, assemble, machine, test, inspect, pack, mark, and deliver wire sheaves for draghead davit, gimbal davit, centerwell draghead hoisting frame, and trunnion hoisting frame. Solicitation W912P8-05-T-0103 is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This requirement is being procured as a firm fixed price contract under FAR 12, Commercial I tem. The applicable Standard Industrial Code is 3429; the NAICS code is 333923. This solicitation is issued as unrestricted. Copy of the solicitation and drawings will be mailed upon request. Solicitation only will be available on our website www.mvn.usace.army.mil on Wednesday, August 31, 2005. Drawings will be mailed separately. Request for this solicitation shall be i n writing, stating the solicitation number, complete company name, point of contact, address, area code and telephone number and facsimile number. No telephone requests will be accepted. Quotes are due on Friday, September 23, 2005, at 12:00 noon. NOTE: Contractor must be registered with Central Contractor Registration to be eligible for contract award or payment from any DOD activity. Information on registration may be obtained by calling 1-800-334-3414 or via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov. Regi stration requires applicants to have a DUNS number from Dun & Bradstreet. Registering may take up to three weeks to process. Recommend registering immediately in order to be eligible for timely award.
