- This revised synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting synopses and solicitations to the Internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by NSWC Crane. Amendment 0001 This is a revision to a synopsis for 170 EA Motorola Digital Portable Radios (P/N XTS 1500) which was originally published on 01 August 25, 2005. Motorola brand name only accessories for the Motorola radios will also be procured through this solicitation which will be identified in the solicitation as approximately 55 line items. Award of a firm-fixed price, brand name only contract is anticipated. Delivery is required to begin within 45 days after contract award, and shall be FOB destination. The anticipated delivery location for the Portable Radios is NAVSURFWARCENDIV Crane, IN. Final Inspection and Acceptance shall be at destination. To be eligible for award, contractors must be properly registered in the Government's Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Offerors may obtain information on CCR registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-888-227-2423, or via the internet @ www.ccr.gov. If a change occurs in this requirement, only those offerors tha! t respond to this announcement within the required time frame will be provided any changes/amendments and considered for future discussions and/or award. The solicitation will be available on or about 29 August 2005 at the following address: http://www.crane.navy.mil/supply/announce.htm. No hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed.
