- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the ONLY SOLICITATION; proposals/quotes are being requested and a SEPARATE WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. The solicitation, number N00244-05-T-0977 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). An electronic copy of this RFQ/synopsis can be accessed at http://www.neco.navy.mil. This RFQ document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-05 and Class Deviation 2005-o0001 and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) current through 20050726 Edition. This acquisition is a total small business set-aside action. The NAICS code is 332618 and the business size standard is 500E. The fleet and Industrial Supply Center San Diego (FISCSD) requests response from qualified sources capable of providing Mobile Sink with Cabinet Base, standard unit, to be used in the clinics and hospital. SPECIFICATIONS: DIMENSIONS: Sink top dim: 24?W X 24?D X 39?H, Bsin dim: 12?W X 17?D X 7? deep, Framing: Type 304 1 ?? stainless steel square tube tubing, ?? X 18GA. Round tubing braces. FAUCET: Gooseneck faucet, brass body with chrome finish, equipped with 4? blade hot and cold water, HANDLESHOOK UPS: 48? braided stainless steel, ?No burst? connecting hoses which terminate in ?? pipe mail quick-disconnect fittings. CASTERS: Stainless steel and molded nylon, stem-type, swivel casters with 5?D X 1 ??W, non-marking molded polyolefin wheels with polyurethane tires, swivel with brakes. The Government will award a contract resulting from the RFQ to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the RFQ will be most advantageous to the Government. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: (a) price, (b) technical capability, and (c) availability. For pricing, all responsible Offerors are to submit current pricing, and copies of commercially published price lists that meet the specifications. For technical capability, offeror must comply with the specifications and provide literature. Those offers that are determined technically unacceptable will not be further evaluated. For availability, offeror must provide a statement explaining how it will meet the required delivery schedule. The provision at FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations And Certifications ?
