- Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Keyport is contemplating award of a sole source purchase order to Billingsley Magnetics, 2600 Brighton Dam Road, Brookeville, MD 20833-3211 in accordance with 10 USC 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. Dealers are encouraged to respond. The solicitation is for the of 22 each of a “Underwater Triaxial Magnetic Sensor” in accordance with the specifications. Delivery of 22 each is due 12 weeks after contract award. The solicitation will be issued by 28 Aug 2005. The closing date of the solicitation will be 9 Sep 2005. The RFQ will be posted on the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) web link www.neco.navy.mil. Offerors wishing to submit an offer are responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFQ from this website and to frequently monitor the site for any amendments to the RFQ. No telephone or fax requests for the RFQ package will be accepted. An email request to hendricksonmj@kpt.nuwc.navy.mil will be accept! ed in the event an offeror experiences problems downloading the RFQ from the NECO website. After downloading the solicitation, firms interested in submitting quotes must: (1) complete the pricing, (2) complete all representations and certifications found in the solicitation (3) and ensure current registration in the DoD Central Contractor Registration database (http://www.ccr.gov/). No bidders list will be maintained by this office. Failure to respond to the electronically posted RFQ and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of quotes may render your offer nonresponsive and result in rejection of the same. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within thirteen days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the government. A determination by the Governm! ent not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Note 1 apply.
