Description

The Eisenhower Army Medical Center, Fort Gordon, GA, has a requirement for Solid Waste Removal Services. The contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, management support, transportation, equipment, materials and incidentals. The contractor sh all collect, haul, and dispose of solid waste materials in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws/regulations. The Eisenhower Army Medical Centers (EAMC) realm of responsibility as an Armys Southeast Medical Center covers seven states, Puerto Rico, and Panama. Patients from all services are admitted to EAMC. The facility is a fourteen story building of more than 6000,000 square feet plus several outlying clinic and satellite facilities. It serves approximately 45,785 beneficiaries in the Ce ntral Savannah River Area. The contractor shall possess solid waste permit from the Georgia Department of Natural Resources. The period of performance for this requirement is from 01 October 2005 through 30 September 2006 and for four 1-year option peri ods. The funding of this requirement is subject to the availability of funds and is contingent upon Congress enacting Fiscal Year 06 Appropriation. The solicitation will be advertised and available for bidding on the Army Single Face Industry acquisit ion website: http://acquisition.army.mil/asfi on or about the September 01 2005.
