Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. A quote is being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number F1B3S15160A100 is hereby issued as a FOB Destination Request for Quote. The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-22. This acquisition is restricted 100% to small business 19.1405(b) and is under North American Industry Classification System code 423120, with a small business size standard of 500 Employees. Altus AFB, Oklahoma has a requirement for ONE (1) SUN 450 ENGINE ANALYZER, MODEL# EEOS108D17. THIS ENGINE ANALYZER MUST ALSO COME WITH THE FOLLOWING KITS: 100PSI PRESSURE PROBE/LEAD KIT, MODEL#EAK0171L00A; HEADSET, MODEL# EAK0201L00AB; OIL TEM KET, MODEL# EAK0201L00AB. THE FOLLOWING ADAPTERS: COIL OVER PLUG ADAPTER, MODEL#EEIG100A. THE FOLLOWING PROBES: VACUUM PROBE MODEL# MT3000-400B; AMP PROBE, NO LOGO, MODEL# MT3000-410A; LOW AMPS PROBES, MODEL# MT3000A440. THIS VEHICLE ENGINE ANALYZER IS REQUIRED FOR THE DIAGNOSIS OF ENGINE MALFUNCTIONS, SUCH AS MISFIRES, SENSOR PARAMETERS, CYLINDER BALANCE, PRIMARY AND SECONDARY IGNITION FAILURES, AND EMISSION PARAMETERS. VENDORS DO NOT HAVE TO QUOTE ON A SNAP-ON SUN 450 ANALYZER AS LONG AS THE PRODUCT YOU ARE QUOTING IS AN EQUAL TO ALL SPECIFICATIONS THE SUN 450 ANALYZER WILL PROVIDE. Award will be made based on price, and suitability of the item for use at the desired location. Award shall be made only to contractors who have registered with the Central Contractor. Quotations may be faxed to (580) 481-5138. The government reserves the right to make award on the initial quote without discussions. FAR clause 52.212-4 (Oct 2003), Contract Terms and Conditions—Commercial Items, is incorporated by reference and applies to this acquisition with the following addendum: DFARS 252.204-7004 Required Central Contractor Registration (Nov 2003). The clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders—Commercial Items (Jun 2004) and its deviations (Apr 2004) applies to this acquisition and is incorporated by reference. Paragraph (a and b) of the clause incorporates by reference the following FAR clauses: FAR 52.212-4 is tailored as follows changes in the terms and conditions of this contract may be made only by written agreement of the parties with the exception of administrative changes (such as changes in paying office appropriation data, etc.) that may be changed unilaterally by the Government.
