Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Augusta, GA, VISN 7, contemplates negotiation of a sole source procurement with Harvington Media, Inc., 2722 Ridge View Road, Frisco, TX 65034 for Customer Service Training Phase II ?Catch the Fever.? ?Catch the Fever? is a follow-on course to the Phase I ?Dare to Dance? Customer Service Training Program. ?Catch the Fever? will build upon Phase I, as it will provide a look at the outcomes of the Phase I course strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for building and sustaining a service culture for VISN 7. This 1-day course will be conducted at eight VA Medical Center facilities (Atlanta, Augusta, Dublin, GA; Charleston, Columbia, S.C.; and Montgomery, Tuscaloosa, Tuskegee, AL). The Period of Performance for this procurement will be September 9, 2005 through September 8, 2006. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 611430 with a standard size of $6 million. This Notice of Intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all proposals received within 5 days after publication of this synopsis. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability by submitting literature, detailing how their products/services meet VA requirements, to the Contracting Officer or by fax 478-274-5609. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Solicitation will be issued on or about September 2, 2005. Award is anticipated to be made on or before September 8, 2005
