Description

The VA Medical Center, One Veterans Drive, Minneapolis, MN, has a requirement for ImmunoHistoChemistry and In Situ Hybridization (IHC/ISH) Antibody Detection Kits, Special Stain Kits, and Reagents Kits for use with VA owned fully automated BenchMark LT and NexES IHC Systems. The VAMC is looking for brand name or equal products. The IHC systems are manufactured by Ventana Medical Systems of Tucson, Arizona. All products provided must be FDA approved and certified as compatible for use with the Ventana equipment. A firm-fixed price contract will be awarded to the offeror providing the best value to the government. It is anticipated that a five (5) year contract will be awarded consisting of a Base Year with four Option Years. The contract period will begin on or about October 1, 2005 and continue through September 30 2010, based on the exercise of option years. RFQ-618-45-06 has been assigned to this solicitation and bid documents will be available on or about August 29, 2005. Solicitation and award procedures under Federal Acquisition Regulations FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13 will be followed for this procurement. FSC Code 65 applies and the NAICS Code is 325413, Laboratory Diagnostic Substances, and the Small Business Size Standard is 500 employees or less. Response to this solicitation is due by September 15, 2005, 4:30pm Central Time. Solicitation documents are attached to this FedBizOpps Announcement. Interested parties shall submit two copies of the solicitation document with original signatures on the cover page, SF1449, to the issuing office by date required.
