- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in the notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation, FA4626-05-Q0044, is issued as a request for quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-05 and Defense DCN 20050726. The solicitation listed here is 100% small business set aside. The Federal Supply Class (FSC) is R605. The associated Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 5192. The North American Industry Classification System is 519120 and the associated business size standard is 6 million. This request for quotation consists of the following Item(s) to provide Item 0001 Subscription to the Adult Book Lease Plan. Subscriptions for government libraries plan index GB2-5: Core collection 1,000 books with a monthly new book allowance of 50 books. Yielding an annual new book allowance of 600 books, Item 0002 Subscription to the McNaughton Young Adult Book Lease Plan. Subscription for government libraries plan index BY-3: Core collection of 600 books, Item 0003 Subscription to the Children?s Hardback Subscription. Subscription for Government Libraries Plan PC-4. This is a book purchase program. Allowance is 120 points per month (approximately 14 books). Items shall be delivered FOB Destination to Travis AFB, CA no later than 30 days after receipt of order.
