Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) The subject reference number, F2G3C25202A200 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). (iii)The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular Fac 2005-03, Effective 11 Apr 2005. (iv) DUE TO ESTABLISHED ECONOMIC AGREEMENTS BETWEEN THE UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT AND THE GOVERNMENT OF TURKEY, THE AIR FORCE INTENDS TO AWARD THIS SOLICITATION TO A BUSINESS CONCERN WITHIN THE COUNTRY OF TURKEY. THEREFORE, PROPOSALS FROM BUSINESS CONCERNS OUTSIDE OF TURKEY WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED. (v) The following CLINS are applicable to this solicitation: CLIN 0001 IdentiFinder EOD Isotope Identifinder Kit (EOD Configuration), 2 KT.; CLIN 0002 Shipping charges to Dover AFB, Delaware. (vi) See Attachment 1 for a more detailed item description. (vii) The delivery address is 39 CES/CED, Bldg 115, Incirlik AB, Turkey 09824. (viii) The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition. (ix) This is a competitive best price acquisition. Price is the only deciding factor. (x) A completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, with its offer must be submitted with each Quote. (xi) The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The following addenda are also attached: 52.233-3, Protest After Award, 52.247-34 -- F.o.b. ? Destination, 252.204-7003, Control of Government Personnel Work Product, and 252.212-7001, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items (xii) The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes Or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition and the following addenda are also applicable: FAR 52.232-33, Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer?Central Contractor Registration (Oct. 2003)(31 U.S.C. 3332).
