Description

We intend to award a delivery order contract to Herley Industries, Inc., 3061 Industry Drive, Lancaster, PA 17603-4025 on a sole source basis. The contract will enable us to issue delivery orders over a 5year period to Herley Industries to produce s pecialized C-band Radar transponder(s) with a peak power output of 50 Watts. The estimated value of the delivery orders over the 5-year period is $507,000.00. Anyone who thinks they can perform this contract must provide evidence that they have the abili ty to produce the 50 Watt C-band transponder that has been qualified to Range Commanders Council standard 262-02 (C (G)  BAND & X (I)  BAND NONCOHERENT RADAR TRANSPONDER PERFORMANCE SPECIFICATION STANDARD) and have documentation to substantiate that fa ct on or before 06 September 2005.
