Description

In support of the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility, the Fleet Industrial Supply Center Puget Sound is procuring two machining centers. The requirement is for one each AWEA brand name Model BM-1600 or equal vertical computer numeric control ?CNC? machining center. And one each HAAS brand name Model EC-3000 or equal horizontal computer numeric control ?CNC? machining center. One each HURCO Brand name Model VMX42 or equal and one each HAAS Brand name model VF-5/50 or equal. Delivery of item 0001 is required no later than 28 October 2005 and delivery of item 0002 is required no later than 2 December 2005, delivery or item 0003 is required no later than 1 October 2005, and delivery of item 0004 is required no later than 30 December 2005. Machines 0001, 0002, and 0003 are to be delivered and installed on base at the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, bldg 431, 1st Floor, Bremerton, WA 98314. Machine 0004 is to be delivered and installed on base at Silverdale, WA 98315. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by FISCPS. This solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted to the NECO website: http://www.neco.navy.mil. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from this website and for frequently monitoring that site for any amendments. The Government is not responsible for any inability of the offeror to access the posted documents. No telephone or FAX requests will be accepted, and no hard-copy solicitation/amendment will be mailed or FAXed. Electronic submission of proposals/quotes is not available at this time. This acquisition is subject to the Trade Agreement Act of 1979.
