- Description
- NAICS Code: 336212 The purpose of this amendment is to provide response to questions. Q1. Is the 10,500 lb. maximum curb weight firm? A1. The weight needs to be around 10,500 lb., because we do not want to exceed the weight requirements for CDL. As it stands the GCWR for the truck and trailer is 31,5000 lbs.; therefore, the truck will require recertification so that the maximum GCWR will not exceed the CDL requirements. We are open to other options regarding the trailer curb weight provided that a CDL is not required. Q2. Should the roof be painted white? A2. As stated in the RFQ, the exterior color of the trailer shall be gloss white. Q3. What is the capacity of the ramp door? A3. The rear door will be used to load and unload equipment from the trailer. The door should be able to support a utility vehicle wich weighs approximately 1,500 lbs. Q4. May telescoping poles lights mounted to trailer side be provided in lieu of through the roof light installation? A4. Yes, this option would be preferred. Q5. Should stabilizer legs be provided in the quote? A5. This should be provided as an option, since not originally required in the RFQ. Q6. Is air transportablitity desired? A6. This may be provided as an option, since not originally required in the RFQ.
