- Description
- This is a modification to the synopsis entitled TEAMING OPPORTUNITY FOR AEROCAPTURE FLIGHT VALIDATION FOR THE NEW MILLENNIUM PROGRAM'S SPACE TECHNOLOGY-9 (ST9)/SOLICITATION NUMBER PS41-07-19-2005 which was posted on JULY 19, 2005. You are notified that the following changes are made to the original synopsis to clarify that the Implementation Phase (i.e., through launch) will be included in any Phase B award resulting from this teaming opportunity: In the 5th paragraph of the synopsis, change the second sentence as follows: "One technology concept will be selected for Phase B/Formulation Refinement, to begin in October 2006, followed by an Implementation Phase." In the 7th paragraph of the synopsis, delete the last sentence as discussion of a potential contract award beyond Phase A is covered in the last paragraph of the synopsis. In the 9th paragraph of the synopsis, change the last sentence under criteria (1) as follows: "Responses shall include the development and integration approach for the flight aeroshell, through launch, and shall include a risk assessment of the proposed approach." In the last paragraph of the synopsis, change the last sentence as follows: "It is further anticipated that selection of the proposal for the ST9 mission implementation would result in a Formulation Refinement (Phase B) and Implementation Phase (through launch) contract for the selected partner." The due date for responses is not extended. Documents related to this procurement will be available over the Internet.
