Description

The USCG MLCP in Alameda, CA, proposes to contract for the Dockside Repair of the USCGC BOUTWELL (WHEC 719), a 378? Cutter. This procurement is a total small business set aside. Performance will be accomplished at the Cutter?s Home Pier, which is Coast Guard Island, Alameda CA 94501. The cutter will be available for performance from February 14, 2006 through April 07, 2006. The work may include, but is not limited to Production Control, Gantt Bar Chart Provide; Inspect and Test Circuit Breakers; Inspect and Test Circuit Breakers, 400 Hz; Firemain Valve(>=2.5 Inches) Inspection and Overhaul; Steam Isolation Valve Overhaul (2-1/2 Inches and Greater); Steam Safety and Relief Valves Overhaul Test and Set; Steering Gear (General) Overhaul; Steering Gear Ram and Cylinder Repair; Anchor Windlass (Gen) Level 2 Inspect and Repair; Grey Water Holding Tank(s) Clean & Inspect; Sewage Holding Tank Clean & Inspect; Sewage Vacuum Collection and Sealwater Tanks Clean and Inspect; Deck Coverings (Interior Polymeric) Reseal; Main Diesel Engine Insulation Renewal; Stack Space Paint Removal; Bilges (Machinery Space) Preserve; Chilled Water System Insulation Renewal; Temporary Services, Dockside, Home Pier.
