Description
The U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center has a requirement for 175 WLM Propeller Modification, Drawing Reviews and Development for (1) NSN 2010-01-413-8557, Type 1 Left Hand Propeller, Rolls-Royce Naval Marine Part No. 551209 and (1) NSN 2010-01-413-7147, Type 2 Right Hand Propeller, Rolls-Royce Naval Marine Part No. 551210, to be performed in accordance with USCG Statement of work for 175 WLM Propeller Modification, Drawing Reviews & Development. Dated 8/1/05 and criteria set forth in the OEM drawings. Delivery shall be F.O.B. Destination to Receiving Room, U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center, Baltimore, MD 21226-5000. All items shall be delivered within 135 calendar days from issuance of order. This notice is published in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. Quality Assurance required. It is the Government's belief that only Rolls-Royce Naval Marine/or their authorized distributors can furnish the required modifications and ensure the proper form, fit and function of all its components. Technical drawings, specifications, pertaining to Rolls-Royce Naval Marine propellers are proprietary to Rolls-Royce Naval Marine. However, other potential sources having the expertise and required capabilities can submit such data discussing the same in duplicate with 5 days from the date of this announcement. The following information must be provided to evaluate the acceptability of the offered services/parts: 1) Complete and current engineering data to demonstrate the capability of the offered services and parts, or 2) Data that the offered services have been satisfactorily performed for the Government or the Original Equipment Manufacturer. All responsible sources may submit their quotation, which shall be considered by the Agency. Request For Quotation (RFQ) Number HSCG40-05-Q-60325 shall be available for download from FedBizOpps (www.eps.gov) on or about 1 September 2005. This date is estimated at best. The closing date for receipt of proposals is contingent upon the release of the RFQ package, but is estimated to be 8 September 2005 at 2:00 p.m. EST. See Numbered Note 22
