Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with FAR Subpart 12.6 and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation AG-4660-S-05-0014 will be issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-05. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 326122 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. This acquisition is set-aside for small business. The contractor shall provide the following contract lines: Item 0001--3400 ea of Plastic Mini Wobbler Sprinkler head, #4. ??M (NPT), white deflector, complete, Senninger Irrigation or equal. Item 0002--3400 ea of Pressure Regulators, Low Flow PMR 20 LF ? F X 3.4F. The anticipated award is September 20 2005. The government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible, responsive vendor whose quote, conforming to the solicitation, provides a technically acceptable low offeror. If the offeror provides pricing for an ?or equal? item, descriptive literature needs to be submitted in order to determine compliance with specifications. Delivery required within 30 days after receipt of contract. FOB Destination - Point of delivery and acceptance is USDA-Forest Service-Savannah River, 1-mile inside Aiken Barricade, SRS, Bldg 760-15G, Aiken, SC 29802. For delivery 72 hours notification is required to process any security badge requests for U.S. Citizens and up to 30 days could be required for non-U.S. citizens. Deliveries to the Savannah River Site may encounter delays due to creased security and safety requirements The following FAR provisions and clauses apply to this request for quotation and are incorporated by reference and/or full text as required. FAR 52.212.-1 (no addenda), FAR52.212-4 (no addenda), and with in FAR 52.212.-5, 52.219-6, 52.222-3, 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37, 52.225-1, 52.225-13, 52.232-33, 52.233-3, 52.233-4, and 52.204-7 Central Contractor Registration (OCT 2003). The Contractor is to include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, with its offer. Offerors must register on this website in order to receive notification of changes to the solicitation. The offeror is responsible for monitoring this site for release of the solicitation and any subsequent postings. All interested parties must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration as prescribed by FAR Clause 52.204-7. CCR can be obtained by accessing the Internet or by calling 1-888-227-2423. Contractor needs to have completed annual representation and certifications electronically via the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) at http://www.bpn.gov/orca .
