Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items using simplified acquisition procedures, prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotations. The U.S. Department of Commerce, NOAA/NOS CO-OPS, has a requirement for maintenance support to include technical support, software, documentation and upgrades for 1 Exemplars run-time license for ARNS software and technical support for up to 15 ports. A purchase order with a nine (9) month period of performance is planned. This requirement is 100% set aside for small business. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 511210. Responses must be sent electronically in MS Word format to Pauline.Jaffe@noaa.gov and in hard copy to Pauline Jaffe, Contract Specialist, National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration, 1305 East West Highway, Suite 7608, SSMC4, Silver Spring, Maryland 20910, no later than 11:00 am, local time, on September 9, 2005. The applicable terms and conditions for the resulting purchase order are current through FAC 2005-05 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation.
