Description

In accordance with FAR Subpart 5.2 and FAR 6.302-1, this is an announcement that the VA Healthcare Network Upstate New York at Syracuse intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Kay Elemetrics Corporation, 2 Bridge Water Lane, Lincoln Park, NY 07035 for digital stroboscopy equipment. The equipment to be purchased must be completely compatible with existing Kay Elemetrics equipment already owned and in use at VA in order to make the video stroboscopy an independently functioning unit. The items to be purchased include #9211 single chip CCD camera, #9200B digital video recording system, #9264C color inkjet printer, #9271 cart, #6103 electroglottograph, training and other miscellaneous items. The proposed purchase will be accomplished under FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13 with NAICS 423450 applicable. This announcement is not a request for proposals. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to supply these items by submitting written information within 10 days after publication of this notice. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competition procurement. Detailed information should be faxed to (315) 425-4843. If no responses are received as a result of this announcement of intent, purchase will be made from Kay Elemetrics.
