Description

BOD POD BODY COMPOSITION TRACKING SYSTEM This is not a request for proposal. This synopsis is for information and planning purposes only and it not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. This is not a solicitation announcement for proposals and no contract will be awarded from this announcement. Reimbursement will not be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement and any follow-up information requests. The 97th Contracting Squadron, Altus AFB, Oklahoma is searching for sources that can respond by e-mail or fax by 5 September 2005. The Government is searching for sources that can meet the specification outlined below or provide something of equal capabilities. All companies that can meet the specification are encouraged to provide lead-time requirements, product brochures, company capabilities, or any other information that the Government should consider. All information in response to this sources sought announcement shall be e-mailed or faxed to the same. The following is the technical description of the requirement: BOD POD BODY COMPOSITION TRACKING SYSTEM: Contractor shall provide a BOD POD Body composition tracking system (or equal to) that includes: BOD POD chamber, pentium computer, monitor & ink jet printer, digital scale with computer interface, calibration standards, tube and filter kits, on-site installation and training, package and handling, one-year factory warranty.
